FIRST Tech Challenge CENTERSTAGE

The FIRST Tech Challenge POWER PLAY 22/23 season came to an exciting end on July 9th, 2023, with teams from all over the world competing for the ultimate prize. The season challenged students to design, build, program, and operate robots that could play a game of power cells and control panels. The teams demonstrated their creativity, innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills throughout the season.E

But the excitement is not over yet! On September 9th, 2023, FIRST Tech Challenge will reveal the new game for the 23/24 season: CENTERSTAGE! https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc This game will test the teams’ abilities to perform in front of an audience, using music, lights, and special effects. The teams will have to create robots that can interact with the game elements and the spectators, while also scoring points and completing tasks.

Coderina has been supporting FIRST Tech Challenge teams in Nigeria since 2018, providing them with training, mentorship, and resources. Coderina’s mission is to inspire young people to become leaders and innovators in science and technology https://coderina.org/.

Coderina’s teams are eager to learn more about CENTERSTAGE and start working on their robots. They are looking forward to showcasing their talents and skills on the global stage. Coderina believes that CENTERSTAGE will be a fun and engaging way to explore the intersection of art and technology and to celebrate the diversity and creativity of the FIRST Tech Challenge.
